Juni is a platform that provides tailored, round-the-clock, on-demand support to individuals facing emotional challenges, offering 1:1 conversations facilitated by verified, trained and supervised Listeners. With a strong focus on anonymity, Juni ensures a safe and secure space where help seekers can freely express themselves without any worries.

Our platform provides a safe space for those who are navigating emotional hardships to express and share their thoughts. Through a personalized matching algorithm, they will be connected with a Listener who is best suited to address their specific challenges and needs. Once connected, a conversation can start via Chat, Video or Voice call.

At Juni, we value the importance of human interactions and utilize AI technology to achieve exceptional results. We believe in the combination of genuine human connections and innovative AI tools, working together to provide the optimal experience for your well-being.

I - We strongly believe in one's unique stories and individualism. That's why we want to provide the best tailored support, by creating meaningful and effective matches between a help-seeker and a Listener. Besides emotional challenges, we consider other aspects such as current mood, cultural background, urgency, and other personal preferences.
II - We provide instant services around the clock - even in the middle of the night when therapy clinics aren't available. You can reach us from any timezone, Juni is always available.
III - We understand the pains individuals are going through to get support. Not only is it time-consuming to reach our for help, but it is costly as well. Therefore, Juni offers fast and accessible mental health support, ensuring that individuals from all backgrounds can benefit from the support they deserve.

Juni is open to individuals who seek help aged 16 and above.

The Listeners at Juni are a compassionate and dedicated group of individuals who are trained to provide empathetic support and actively listen to a person's needs. They come from diverse backgrounds, including mental health professionals, advocates, and individuals with lived experiences. All Listeners undergo rigorous screening and training to ensure they can offer understanding and non-judgmental assistance. Their primary goal is to create a safe and supportive environment for users to express themselves freely and receive personalized guidance for their unique struggles.

Navigating through life can be tough, and we understand that. It's no secret that our mental health can take a hit from all sorts of challenges like anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, feeling down, or just feeling completely swamped. Life throws curveballs too, like breakups, losing someone close, work drama, money troubles, questioning your sexuality, feeling alone, or dealing with substance issues. We know it's a whole complex mix, and that's why we're here to offer support and guidance as you navigate through it all. Whether you want to be heard, have someone on your side, or simply cry, you can always count on us.

Juni provides a safe and supportive environment where you can freely express yourself without revealing your identity. Studies show that many people hesitate to share their struggles with friends, family, or healthcare professionals. But at Juni, you can open up and get the help you need without any concerns.

Ensuring your anonymity on Juni is crucial, and it requires your compliance with our rules and terms.

We maintain a strict commitment to user privacy by refraining from selling any user data, setting us apart from other "free" platforms. Instead of relying on intrusive ads to generate revenue, we focus on creating a seamless and ad-free platform to enhance user satisfaction.

HELP-SEEKERS

Upon seeking our services, you will be paired with a dedicated Listener. Our Listeners undergo comprehensive training in mental health care and bring a wealth of personal experience in overcoming their own mental health challenges. Besides that, they are clinically supervised and mentored by therapists and other professionals at Juni.
By engaging with a Listener, you can rest assured that you are connecting with someone who understands your struggles. You will not need to fear the burden of commitment or the stigma often associated with seeking help. Our Listeners are here to provide unbiased support and guidance throughout your journey.

At Juni, our commitment is to provide a deeply tailored experience for you. We believe in utilizing the power of machine learning and AI to complement the capabilities of our Listeners. When you connect with a Listener, we delve beyond the surface to truly understand the intricacies of your emotions, social context, and cultural influences. By embracing the fusion of advanced technology and genuine empathy, we strive to create a unique journey of support tailored to your individual needs and unique challenges.

You have the freedom to choose the type of support that best suits your needs. Whether you're seeking instant emotional relief or prefer ongoing guidance from a dedicated Listener, the Juni app offers both options. You can decide which approach works for you based on your preferences and availability.
If it's a single event, the you will be assigned a new Listener every time you enquire a service. If you opt for an ongoing service and prefer to talk to one specific Listener, you will remain connected to this Listener.

At the moment, our service is free. As we grow and improve, we may introduce reasonable fees to maintain the quality and development of our platform. We invest in extensive training and fair compensation for our Listeners and Mentors to prioritize your user experience, ensuring a supportive environment. We don't your data, which us apart from many other "free" platforms. Instead, we aim to enhance your satisfaction by providing a seamless and ad-free experience.

A session is 45 minutes long.

If you are experiencing a crisis, engaging in self-harm, or having suicidal thoughts, it is important to seek immediate help from specialized services. We are unable to provide the necessary support in such situations.


LISTENERS

Currently, we provide both options. Some individuals may seek immediate emotional relief, while others prefer ongoing support from a dedicated Listener. As a Listener, you have the flexibility to choose between these two types of support based on your preferences and availability.

As a Listener on Juni, there are several benefits you can enjoy:

1. Creating impact: You have the opportunity to connect with individuals who are seeking support and make a positive impact on their lives.

2. Personal Growth: Engaging as a Listener allows you to enhance your active listening and communication skills. Through interactions with diverse individuals, you can broaden your understanding of different perspectives and gain insights into the human experience.

3. Empathy and Understanding: By offering support to others, you develop a deeper sense of empathy and compassion. You can learn to navigate various challenges, provide comfort, and help individuals feel heard and validated.

4. Skill Development: Juni provides training and resources to support your growth as a Listener. You can enhance your knowledge of mental health, learn effective communication techniques, and acquire valuable skills that can benefit both personal and professional relationships.

5. Contribution to Mental Health: Being a Listener on Juni means actively participating in a community that promotes mental health and well-being. You are able to decide on your level of commitment in terms of value and time. Whether it is something you want to contribute to as a volunteer, a part-time Listener or as a full-time Listener, the decision is entirely up to you. We welcome any help we can get to support those in need, and we are grateful for any contribution you can make.

It is of utmost necessity to accept and follow the rules, and to agree to our terms and conditions. As a Listener you are the owner of your actions and responsibilities. Therefore it is important that you read through our terms and conditions and apply the rule within the Juni platform and community. Adhering to our rules and terms and conditions is crucial for a smooth experience within the Juni platform and community. Violation of the rules and terms and conditions will result in the termination of your membership.

1. Ensure Safety:
- Create and maintain a safe environment for yourself, the Champions, and your peers.
- Interact with sincerity, treating others with dignity and care. Share only appropriate and safe content (text, voice files, images, videos) that compliant with our rules and terms. - We take safety seriously, and any violations and breaches may lead to deactivation of your Juni profile and account.


2. Respect Anonymity:
- Do not ask Champions about their identity, personal information or any other information that disclose their privacy.
- Avoid asking for or sharing visual content from a Champions.
- Keep identifiable information about Champions confidential and do not share these with other members in the Juni community.
- Do not share your own personal information or details about yourself, remain professional at all times.
- Breaching anonymity guidelines may result in deactivation of your profile and account.


3. Foster Support:
- Offer genuine support to Champions and your peers, demonstrating respect and kindness.
- Practice empathy, mindfulness, and considerate behavior throughout the platform.
- Allow yourself to receive support when you feel overwhelmed or triggered.


By accepting and abiding by these guidelines, you contribute to creating a positive and supportive environment within the Juni community.

If someone is experiencing a crisis, engaged in self-harm, or having suicidal thoughts, it is important for them to seek immediate help from specialized services. At Juni, we are unable to provide the necessary support in such situations. In such situation a Listener has to indicate to the Champion that the conversation will end at this point, and provide the Champion with the advice to look for specific services for suicidal support.

The Juni community acts as a central support platform, providing a space for Listeners to connect, share their stories, and engage in meaningful conversations. Our devoted Mentors, who are licensed mental health practitioners or professionals with mentoring experience, serve as guides for Listeners, ensuring the well-being of our supporters' community.
In addition to safeguarding anonymity and privacy, Mentors actively supervise and maintain a vigilant checking system to ensure compliance with our rules. They diligently monitor contents tand regularly check in with our Listeners to give them the support as they need as well.


PRIVACY

At Juni, you have full control over the information you choose to share. If you prefer to maintain your anonymity and withhold your name or any other personal details from your Listener or others, rest assured that your privacy will be completely preserved. We place great importance on safeguarding your personal information and ensuring your privacy. We want to assure you that we do not engage in the sale or sharing of your personal information with any third parties. Your trust and confidentiality are paramount to us.

To safeguard your privacy and anonymity on the Juni platform, we recommend the following steps for help-seekers:

- Choose a Unique Username: Select a username that doesn't reveal your real identity, avoiding personal details.

- Avoid Sharing Personal Information: Refrain from disclosing sensitive details that could identify you during interactions.

- Set Communication Boundaries: Be clear about your comfort level in sharing information, and our Listeners will respect those boundaries.

- Delete Chat History: If desired, you can delete chat history to ensure confidentiality.

- Seek Support Anonymously: Share your struggles freely without revealing your true identity.
